How ITS Uses Affiliate Funds
|
| While ITS is public in
name, its core operating support from public sources, has changed
little since its inception more than half a century ago. Yet the
Institute's research mission has grown tremendously, to where, today,
some $20 million in research projects pass through the Institute
in a typical year. Outside financial support is crucial. ITS Affiliate
memberships support the Institute's efforts in: |
| |
- Sustaining and strengthening the collection
and services of the Harmer E. Davis Transportation Library.
|
| |
- Attracting and retaining the best students and staff.
|
| |
- Funding cutting-edge research.
|
| |
- Providing information to students about transportation.
