Rita Evans, Director of the Harmer E. Davis Transportation Library, will travel to Chicago in July to receive the 2012 Professional Achievement Award of the Transportation Division of the Special Libraries Association.

ITS Professor Carlos Daganzo has received an honorary doctorate in his native Barcelona for his contributions to transportation science, his mentorship of transportation students from Spain, and research that led to development of a plan for a bus rapid transit network in the Catalan city.
