ITS Grad Students Collect Eisenhower and Eno Awards for 2007

Once again, all four ITS affiliates were well-represented among the 2007 award winners for the two leading national prize competitions for transportation graduate students. Five students at three campuses won Dwight David Eisenhower Graduate Fellowships. Five students (out of a total of 20 nationwide) from three campuses were awarded Eno Fellowships.

  • the Eisenhower awards enable students to pursue advanced degrees in transportation-related fields at universities of their choice and are awarded to students for up to three years; they also subsidize students' attendance at the annual TRB conference in Washington, D.C.
  • the Eno Awards bring students to the Eno Leadership Conference, held annually in Washington, D.C., to provide "exceptionally promising master’s and doctoral degree students who plan to pursue careers in transportation with a first-hand look at how transportation policy is developed and implemented," said Tom Downs, Eno Transportation Foundation President and CEO.

The student winners are listed below, in alphabetical order by campus.
