ITS Berkeley at Davos for World Economic Forum Annual Meeting

ITS Director Alexandre Bayen was featured on a panel discussing the societal impacts of the New Mobility, the massive ongoing transformation in how the world moves people, things, and data at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting at Davos, Switzerland January 22-25, 2019.

The weeklong meeting explored Globalization 4.0: Shaping A Global Architecture In The Age Of The Fourth Industrial Revolution and featured conversations around top challenges facing global business leaders with a unique opportunity to question and refine strategies in person and in the context of the Meeting which asks attendees to pursue wider engagement and a heightened imagination when it comes to solving complex problems.

In addition to being part of a panel, Bayen is thrilled to announce Oliver Wyman's new Future Mobility Competitiveness Index (FMCI) with UC Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies. The FCMI evaluates how cities embrace the mobility revolution, which Singapore, Amsterdam and Helsinki top the ranking.
