potential for improving our roadways. The PRC and its field test sites are

Courses offered through the Technology Transfer Program
The Pavement
Research Center offers several courses through the University of California
Technology Transfer program. These courses include Asphalt Pavement Fundamentals:
Design, Construction, and Rehabilitation; Asphalt Mix and Structural Design;
Concrete Pavement Fundamentals; and Recent Developments in Asphalt
Paving.

From I-80/580 and points south (from Berkeley, Oakland,
or San Francisco): After the Gilman Street exit, get in one of the two
right lanes and take I-580 toward the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Exit on
Bayview (second exit after freeway splits). Turn left at the stoplight.
Follow ramp and go straight at the stop sign onto Meade Street. Pass the
Zeneca facility (on your left) and immediately turn left on to South 47th
Street. Immediately turn right and stop at the RFS gate police kiosk.From I-80 and points north (from Sacramento): Take
the Carlson Avenue exit. Turn right and go through the light at South 55th
Street. Turn left at the next light onto Bayview. Go over the freeway to
the stop sign. Go straight at
the stop sign onto Meade Street. Pass the Campus Bay complex (on your left)
and immediately turn left on to South 47th Street. Immediately turn right
and stop at the RFS gate police kiosk.From I-580 (from Marin County): Take the Regatta
Boulevard exit. Go straight through the light (onto Meade). Take the next
right onto South 47th Street.
