THE PURCHASE OF FREQ INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AND SERVICES:

Software: The FREQ12 integrated system of models is distributed on one CD which includes the interface, the FREQ12PL and FREQ12PE models, sample input and output, and several utility programs. FREQ12 is a Windows application.

Documentation: The following documentation is distributed with the FREQ12 model.

  • url for downloading the new Freeway Analysis Manual (partially completed)
  • FREQPL
 Chapters 4-13 of the final report for the research project under which FREQ10PL was developed. The report is entitled "Demand Estimation, Benefit Assessment, and Evaluation of On-Freeway High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes."

  • FREQPE
 The FREQ8PE Research Report - Our most recent comprehensive documentation for the priority entry model plus a list of enhancements incorporated into the FREQ10PE model.
  • Description of enhancements that have been added to the model since these reports were written.

  • Description of the calibration process.

  • Six page excerpt from the research paper describing the logic within FREQ11 that "tilts" the timeslice demands when longer study sections are being analyzed.

  • Installation instructions.
Licensing Agreement: This purchase constitutes a single-site license. Thus, if other offices in your organization wish to obtain a copy of FREQ12, they should contact the ITS Systems Unit and purchase other copies.

Technical Support Technical support will be provided by phone or email to answer questions and help with problems for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Technical support beyond the first year can be arranged for an additional fee.

Updates for FREQ12 Maintenance and/or enhancement releases for FREQ12 will be sent to you at no extra charge as long as we have funds to support these activities.
