Jarrett Bato joined the Innovative Mobility Research group (IMR, now a part of TSRC) as an undergraduate student researcher in August 2008. His research interests include intelligent transport systems, alternative transportation infrastructure, and transport futures.

Bato graduated from UC Berkeley at the end of 2008 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

Bato was born in Saudi Arabia and has lived in many places in the U.S. He loves to read comic books, ride bicycles, and listen to and make music.

Bato was named IMR's Student of the Month for December 2008.
